Belonging brings us happiness and joy, a sense of identity, and relationships others who share something deeply in common. Our elders tell us that in the long ago our communities were founded on our inter-connectedness and inter-generational relationships with each other, the earth, animals and ancestors. All unfolded and was created with a spirit of inclusiveness and belonging. A connection to the land, animals, Universe and each other provided the context for us to all be on the same side working together.
